  • Opinion: Would love to take the opportunity to review Michelle, who is a pilates instructor connected with the practice. Michelle is fantastic and I have been working with her regularly over the past 4 years. I began working with her when I was pregnant with my first and she has supported me through two pregnancies, two c sections, and two post party recoveries, and more! I continue to work with her 2 years after giving birth to my second child and feel stronger than I did when I was pre-kids! Michelle is a wonderful trainer who «hears» what your goals are and finds ways to engage you and challenge you throughout the session. She thinks outside the box and pushes you past your limit (which is what you want)! If you are lucky enough to work with Michelle, you will quickly meet and pass your fitness goals. She is great!   • Opinion: Love Absolute Pilates. After the pandemic forced classes to go virtual I signed up for an affordable monthly package. It takes a skilled instructor to lead these virtual classes effectively. Their knowledge, training and patience allow me to have a great workout without worrying that I will injure myself while not in the studio with them. The scheduled classes have given me the discipline to attend when I might otherwise choose to skip a class. The feedback from the instructors, who can see me, is really important in making sure I am doing things correctly. Both of these things offer important advantages over other options such as YouTube and similar platforms. Because this platform allows the instructors not only to see students but to provide immediate feedback, over time, it enables the instructor to advise students individually while accommodating for their individual skill levels. In short Absolute Pilates, while staying professional, allows for a very positive personal Pilates experience. I thank all at Absolute Pilates for keeping me safe, sane and fit during this pandemic.
