  • Opinion:I started Pilates @thebarre about a year ago. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Emma has been such a supportive and wonderful instructor. The atmosphere is great, she creates such a comfortable space. If I’m not exactly sure what to do or if I’m in the right position Emma will demonstrate and help me understand while making me feel comfortable. I love how small the classes are as you really get that individualized attention from the instructors. I have seen such a difference in my body since starting Pilates, it really targets those muscles that you don’t even know are there! Pilates has not only been great for my body but my mind as well. I do Pilates @thebarre 4-5 times a week and I truly look forward to every single class, each class is filled with something new and different and there are so many different types of classes. Thank you so much Kristy and Emma for creating such a comfortable and welcoming environment that has made me look forward to working out.

  • Opinion: I have been working with Ang for approximately 6 months. Prior to my pregnancy I did Pilates regularly however after a rough pregnancy and csection I was still having difficulty with the most basic movements at 4 months postpartum. I was too nervous to go back to classes and felt like I needed more support due to the limitations and pain I was still experiencing. From day one Ang made me feel comfortable and has helped me rebuild my confidence in my body. She is always so patient and offers accommodations when something doesn’t feel good. She is very knowledgeable and knows exactly which exercises are needed to help rebuild the areas I was struggling with. After every single session I feel better, happier and more energized. Plus she’s a delight and we have lots of fun! I would 100% recommend Ang, especially if you are postpartum looking for a way to feel better and connect back with your body.

  • Opinion: Wonderful pilates studio! In-person or virtual, the Create Balance team made me fall in love with Pilates. Each class provides you with a well-rounded workout. Each workout exercise has modification options so that you can make your workout easy, moderate, or challenging – depending on your skill level or mood. This ensures all participants can complete each exercise while also protecting their muscles, so you never exceed your limitations. Renee, Collette and Jessica are my favourite instructors – definitely try one of their classes 🙂

I was looking for knowledgeable and supportive movement professionals who could help with posture and gait, and I’m immensely satisfied with the improvements I’m seeing (no orthotics!).
